Building tension: Abilene prices strong but sales off (Abilene Reporter-News)

Local miami real Estate agents and economists may long for a crystal ball, but they said Abilene’s housing market may not be in much trouble because prices remain strong. Existing home sales and new home construction, though, are down considerably compared with this time last year. Nationally, new home construction is at its lowest since 1959.
